The Conrad New York Downtown is a luxury 5-star hotel. I couldn’t avoid writing this review as this was indeed a great luxury hotel to stay in! We liked it so much!

It is situated alongside the Hudson River in Downtown Manhattan, less than 10 minutes from the city’s most iconic neighbourhoods including Tribeca, Greenwich Village, SoHo, and Wall Street and literally a few steps away from One World Observatory and 9/11 Memorial Museum.

Without any doubt, this is the best luxury hotel in New York we stayed at. We get a convenient rate when purchasing this hotel by our preferred OTA.

How far is Conrad New York Downtown from the center of New York?

Conrad Midtown is located very close to Battery Park City, this well-heeled Hilton group hotel is a top choice for business travellers, as well as tourists.

The Conrad New York Downtown hotel is in a fabulous location near the best attractions and tips of Manhattan. With a 2-minute walk, you will reach One World Observatory and with a 10/15-minute walk, you could be at the ferry dock to visit the Statue of Liberty. Brookfield Place mall is across the street, as is the incredible memorial to victims of the Irish famine.

Offering 463 rooms, the Conrad New York Downtown is a stylish business hotel next to the Goldman Sachs building in Battery Park City.

Rooms are huge, particularly for New York City (this is one of the few all-suite properties in the city), and all have separate living rooms and sliding partitions. Upscale amenities include Nespresso machines, quality toiletries, fluffy robes, and wet bars. The location is far from popular Midtown tourist attractions, but there are excellent restaurants in the immediate vicinity, and numerous subway stops are within walking distance.

To eat on-site, ATRIA Wine Bar and Restaurant serves all three meals daily, plus brunch on the weekends and room service 24 hours a day. ATRIA is a popular spot for after-work drinks, as is Loopy Doopy Rooftop Bar, located on the 16th floor. The seasonal venue is open seven days a week (from early afternoon until after dinner) for cocktails, small plates, and excellent views of the Hudson River.

The hotel has fitness and business centres, both open round the clock, and Wi-Fi is free throughout. Daily shoeshines are free and valet and self-parking (no in-and-out privileges) are both available for a fee. An 11- screen Regal Cinemas is located in the building, and there are a barbershop, florist, and gift store in the lobby.
